CurryPopTart 1 Year Anniversary!

June 18, 2009

It was on this day, in a time long ago, 2008, that I entered the blogging world. I started a small blog on blogspot discussing things such as bathroom etiquette, delayed bus trips, and funny youtube vid’s. It’s pretty unbelievable to me that in just 365 days, that small little blog has evolved in a fully functioning site that is visited by thousands monthly from all over the world.

This blog has been and always will be a passion project for me. I don’t make money doing it but it’s a creative outlet and gives me the opportunity to discuss the things that I really care about.. gadgets, movies, games, and chicks with big asses. But all joking aside, I really appreciate everybody that has visited this site over the past year. If you enjoyed any of the news, reviews, and general shenanigans that we put up here, I would greatly appreciate that you tell a friend or two so that this blog can continue to grow.

Thanks for the support and I look forward to another great year at CurryPopTart!

Breaking News: Terrell Owens Signs 1 yr Deal w/ The Bills

March 8, 2009

After only two days as a Free Agent, WR Terrell Owens has signed a 1 year, $6.5 mil contract with the Buffalo Bills. “I’m leaving America’s team [for] North America’s team,” Owens said at a news conference. The Bills will be Owens’ fourth stop. He started with San Francisco, bounced to Philadelphia — where he helped the Eagles get to a Super Bowl — and then to Dallas.

“I must move on, and it’s another beginning for me,” Owens said. “If I can be that extra added piece to get them to the playoffs, then that’s what I’m here for. I looked at the defensive side of ball and offensive side of the ball, and these guys have all the pieces.”

The Bills have been looking for a big receiver to offset the workload of star Lee Evans. With TO in Buffalo, the Bills will have major threats on their offense for QB Trent Edwards. This is a team that TO will be the default leader of and he will undoubtedly be the biggest star that the Bills have ever seen. Time will tell how this decision pans out, but it’s good news for Buffalo fans who finally have something to be excited about.
